“On my 7th birthday, my dad took me antiquing for the first time. I haven't the slightest idea what possessed him to do that, I remember being more interested in going to Chuck E Cheese, but my memories from that day are so clear and colorful, from what I was wearing (it wasn't cute - green cord overalls with an oversized boxing hoodie over it with slip-on Skechers - thanks for asking!) to what caught my eye in the shops. It was the first time I was ever junk drunk. Around that same time, my mom was getting really into thrifting & reselling on eBay, and I loved helping her with it. I’ve just been hunting for ways to create beauty with old stuff since then.”
